Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The pasteles de queso and the saltenas were SO GOOD! I am so excited I discovered them. Their pasteles and saltenas are better than our go-to spot in Sterling that is 40 minutes away. Highly recommend eating the pasteles de queso fresh - in the restaurant as they come out or in the car on the way home. Cleaning up the few sprinkles of powdered sugar in your car is totally worth it! We will most definitely be back!"
"The place has a great family atmosphere. The wait staff is very nice, and the food is ok. We ordered a salchipapa and the fries seem to need more time to fry. The seem raw, like they needed more time. That is why I ambgiving this place a 4."
"I always come to take out salteñas and sopa de maniz, very delicious also love their mocochinchi"
"First time here with the family and the food was really good. I’m Peruvian but my wife is Bolivian and she loved it so that’s a stamp of approval. Hostess and owners were very attentive. Spacious place which is rare from the Bolivian restaurants I’ve been to which are typically spaced way to close to each other . Definitely will come back!"
"Like other Bolivian places, the price is good and the meat is okay. It was a little dry for my taste, but everything else was good. Loved the soup! The daily special is a nice multi-course meal. I would go back. The person working the register was very helpful and patient."
"The closest to eating in Bolivia. Their llunch special is amazing. The service was top notch. I traveled from Texas for the weekend and had to eat there more than once. The lady that took care of us was kind and with a great attitude."
"If you’re craving a meal that tastes like your Bolivian abuelita made it fresh from scratch, El Sabor Boliviano is the spot. Every dish here tastes like home – comforting, authentic, and full of love. My favorite day to visit is Sunday, and my go-to order is the Pastel con Api. The pastel is a lightly fried empanada-style dough filled with melty cheese and dusted with powdered sugar….absolute perfection. It’s paired with Api, a warm, sweet purple drink made from corn (I think it’s red or purple corn), and it hits every nostalgic note. I also highly recommend the Sopa de Kawi, a hearty bone broth soup that comes with soft rice, a large potato, chicken leg, and I think a long short rib. It’s so delicious and packed with flavor. It’s comforting and honestly the best hangover cure after a fun night out. To drink, I always get the Bolivian lemonade – I have no idea what it’s made of exactly, but it’s so refreshing and uniquely delicious. This is hands-down my favorite place to eat on Sundays. Do yourself a favor and check it out, your taste buds will thank you & you’ll definitely feel like taking a nap afterwards."
"Great restaurant I travel to Bolivia once a year with my husband I love the food there."
